Jose Mourinho has been heavily linked with Manchester United, but new reports suggest Arsenal are keen to steal him from under their rivals' noses.

Arsenal's bosses are reportedly growing impatient with Arsene Wenger's ongoing underachievement and are keen to take advantage of United's inability to tie down the Portuguese, according to Fichajes.
The Gunners were eliminated from the FA Cup and the Champions League last week and could end the season without major silverware, albeit lifting the Community Shield.
In the league, they sit 11 points behind leaders Leicester, a gap which seems too big even though they still have one game in hand.
Many of the club's supporters are disheartened by Arsenal's failure to capitalise on the problems endured by Manchester City, United and Chelsea and now seem set to continue their Premier League title drought, having last won it in 2004.
That is why links to Mourinho, who has been without a club since being sacked by Chelsea in December, doesn't come as a major surprise.
However, it still sounds a bit far-fetched that Mourinho – one of the most outspoken Wenger critics – could take over at the Emirates.
The Portuguese famously labelled the Frenchman 'a specialist in failure' and is known for a much more pragmatic, result-oriented football.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal's leadership would in fact consider Mourinho, if they were to end Wenger's 20-year reign at the club.

Many other sources claim that the former Porto, Real Madrid, Inter and Chelsea boss has already agreed a pre-contract with the Red Devils and will take over from Louis Van Gaal at the end of the season.
