Liverpool have reportedly begun talks to sign an African star who is seen as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who has joined FC Barcelona.

ON Saturday night, the Catalan giants confirmed they had reached agreement with Liverpool for the transfer of Coutinho.
According to the Mirror, the Reds have enquired over the availability of Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez as they look to bolster their squad.
The same report also suggests that Jurgen Klopp is also keen on AS Monaco star Thomas Lemar.
Both players were also reported targets for Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in the last transfer window but nothing had materialised.

Leicester manager Claude Puel recently revealed that Mahrez is happy at the club, although some reports in England claim the Algerian could be on the move this month.
