West Ham United 2-1 Manchester United

Manchester United suffered their fourth defeat of the Premier League season after losing 2-1 to West Ham United.

Erik ten Hag recalled Rasmus Hojlund and Bruno Fernandes following the midweek UEFA Europa League action, as they aimed to secure back-to-back league wins for the first time.

The Red Devils dominated the first half in London, but were let down by some horrible finishing as Alejandro Garnacho and Diogo Dalot squandered some glorious chances in the box.

United were made to rue those missed chances as the Hammers took the lead in the 75th minute, with Summerville turning home Danny Ings' cross at the far post.

The visitors did get back on level terms six minutes later when Casemiro got on the end of Joshua Zirkzee's flick on and headed into the far corner.

West Ham did get a penalty in time added on after Matthijs de Ligt's foul on Ings, which allowed Jarrod Bowen to step up and slot home the winning goal.

Chelsea 2-1 Newcastle United

Chelsea climbed to fourth spot on the standings after defeating Newcastle United 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Cole Palmer was back in the side after being rested midweek, while Wesley Fofana and Pedro Neto were also recalled.

The Blues got the breakthrough in the 18th minute as Palmer sent Neto through with a superb pass before the latter unselfishly teed up Nicolas Jackson for the simple tap-in.

The Magpies were back on level terms in the 32nd minute when former Blues defender Lewis Hall picked out Aleksandr Isak, who bundled the ball from close range.

The Blues got their lead back two minutes after the break as Palmer got his goal

Crystal Palace 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur

Crystal Palace claimed their first win of the league season after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at Selhurst Park.

The home side got the breakthrough on 31 minutes as Eze's lovely flick played In Jean-Philippe Mateta, who took one touch before volleying past Vicario.
