Official: Man City Starlet Signs With Roc Nation

Roc Nation Sports have confirmed the acquisition of one of Manchester City's newest and brightest stars.

One of Manchester City's newest and brightest academy products has now officially signed with Jay-Z founded Roc Nation Sports.

The Citizens' academy set-up seems to be flourishing at the moment. Following the breakthroughs of Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden and more recently Cole Palmer, yet another one of the club's youth products seems to have caught the eye of Pep Guardiola and others, and his name is Jacob Wright.

So much has he impressed that Roc Nation Sports International (RNSI) has today announced their signing of the 18-year-old midfielder.

Wright has featured this season for Pep Guardiola's side in both Champions League and FA Cup fixtures, having been one of the stars of City's impressive academy set-up in recent years.

"Jacob is the perfect modern footballer," RNSI's executive vice-president Alan Redmond said.

"His technique, his game intelligence, and his ability to always be available to receive a pass caught our eye. It's easy to see why he is progressing so well at City. He exemplifies everything a top side could ask for in a midfield player."

Wright joins the likes of Vini Jr, Endrick, Kevin De Bruyne, Federico Dimarco, Chris Richards, Gabriel Martinelli, Lucas Paqueta, and Kevin Paredes on RNSI's increasingly elite roster.

RNSI president Michael Yormark sees the signing of Wright as another example of the company's growing influence in football.

"We've had a lot of success on-pitch over the last five years," he explained. "Exceptional young players like Jacob can see that the service and expertise we offer is vastly different to our competitors.

"Jacob is a special player, from a lovely family. We're extremely happy to welcome Jacob to Roc Nation Sports International."
