The Argentine striker currently leads the English Premier League top scorer's list with 25 goals and has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in the past two seasons.
Aguero joined City in 2011 for £38m from Atletico Madrid and has netted 31 times in 40 appearances this season, despite suffering a few injuries along the way.
Asked whether the striker will leave, he replied: "I don't think so because we are not a selling team.
"I think that Sergio is very happy here, so he doesn't have any intention to go."
Pellegrini was also surprised to see that Aguero was not included in the PFA Team of The Year, despite topping the goal-scoring charts in the Premier League.
"I don't know the way they choose the PFA team, so I can't talk about it," he added.
"All I can say is that Kun must be in every best team."

It remains to be seen if Aguero will remain at the Etihad, while Pellegrini' position remains in doubt, after they failed to defend their league title, while they also disappointed in the UEFA Champions League.
