As his time at United appears to be coming to an end ahead of the expiration of his contract, The Times has now released a report suggesting that some of his teammates in England might not be upset to see him leave.
It is claimed many of his colleagues were shocked that Pogba got away with comments he made in a 2019 interview, during which he declared he was open to a challenge away from the club.
They were reportedly surprised the midfielder was not punished for his remarks, and even more taken aback by the fact that he was not sold as a result of his statements.
It is further said that some United players were annoyed by how many extended breaks Pogba was allowed on the back of injuries, especially as many of them pushed through pain to make themselves available for Solskjaer.
Reports in Europe claim the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is close to returning to the Bianconeri as a free agent, a decade after joining the Italian giants following his refusal to sign a new contract at United in 2012.
Should there be no last-minute U-turns, Pogba will depart United having made 233 appearances and won three trophies.
