Pogba, who was named on the bench for Mourinho's final two Premier League games, is known to have a troublesome relationship with the former Red Devils coach, and Gary Neville was not pleased with the player's reported social media antics.
"I do believe that dancing on the grave of the manager who has just been sacked is out of order," he told Sky Sports.
"Jose Mourinho lost his job and Paul Pogba and his people put that Instagram post out – don't fall for this coincidence scheduled tweet nonsense, it's garbage, absolute garbage."
UEFA-accredited journalist Chris Williams later reported that adidas had confirmed to him that Pogba's social media post was scheduled before Mourinho's sacking, and was not a response to it.
