Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has insisted that he does not pick players according to their price tag or salary, amid rumours of a fallout with superstar Paul Pogba.

Recent reports have claimed that Pogba and Mourinho are not seeing eye-to-eye at United at the moment after the mifielder has played just 154 minutes in the club's last three league games.
Mourinho was asked about the 24-year-old's €105 million (R1.57 billion) price tag and whether or not it is weighing heavily on him, but the Portuguese insisted he expects the same from each and every player, regardless of their transfer fee or salary.
"I don't think it's fair to speak about the responsibilities of a player," he said as per the Telegraph.
"I don't even like the fact that the player who cost X millions doesn't have the same responsibility as the player who cost three times X.
"I think the responsibility is for everyone, so I don't like that kind of approach. I understand for you (the media), but not for me.
"When I decide a team to play, I don't look to the age, I don't look to the salary, I don't look to the transfer fee, because I think that's not also fair."

Last week Mourinho denied rumours of a falling out with the France international, despite many media reports stating otherwise. Pogba has played 23 games this season, scoring three goals and assisting a further 10 strikes.
