Pep Guardiola has made a bold prediction about Arsenal's title chances, with the Gunners looking to put an end to Manchester City's Premier League-winning streak.
Newcastle Manager Sets Record Straight On 'Ronaldo UCL Arrival' Rumours
Mikel Arteta's side are currently eight points clear of the Citizens at the top of the table, having played one more match than Guardiola's team.
Guardiola, 51, believes his former assistant manager's Arsenal can pick up a century of points in the league on current form, and has insisted City will need to be "almost perfect" if they are to catch the London giants.
"The way to reduce the gap is by playing good and winning games," he said, according to the Daily Mirror.
"But they (Arsenal) are going to do 100 or more points the way they have gone so far. If they continue this way, we will not catch them.
"We have to be almost perfect, I would say, from here to the end of the season and hope they drop a little bit in their performance, because yesterday they were excellent.
"We will see what happens."
The Citizens are set to take on Graham Potter's Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night, with the Blues currently lying 10th on the table after winning just seven of their 16 EPL matches this season.
