The Reds could win their first Premier League title in 30 years in the next couple of weeks, but manager Jurgen Klopp is understood to be keen to revamp his squad after the campaign is completed
English publication The Sun has now reported that Liverpool are toying with the idea of offering Sadio Mane plus £200 million (R4.3 billion) for 2018 FIFA World Cup winner Mbappe.
The news comes amid reports that Klopp wants the 2019 African Footballer of the Year to commit to a new contract at Anfield.
The new deal would reportedly see Mane earn weekly wages of £220 000 (R4.8 million), more than any other player at the club, with a similar contract being offered to Virgil van Dijk.

Mane, though, is yet to give any indication as to whether or not he will sign a new contract, which was reportedly already offered to him nine months ago.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be keen on the Senegalese star said to be valued at £150 million (R3.2 billion).
Per The Sun, one possibility that is being discussed if Mane does not commit his future to the club is that the Reds could offer him plus £200 million for Mbappe in a sensational swap deal.
