With Tottenham Hotspur currently ninth in the Premier League having lost five of their past six league matches, a stubborn Jose Mourinho has responded to suggestions he should adapt his football philosophy.
The Lilywhites suffered a 2-1 defeat to David Moyes' West Ham United on Sunday, a result that saw Mourinho's side remain ninth on the league table on 36 points.
In the wake of yet another negative result, many believe the Portuguese tactician should look to evolve his coaching style and philosophy to get out of a run that has been referred to by many as a crisis, to which he has responded by insisting his methods are not the problem.
"Not at all, zero," Mourinho said after his men's defeat to the Hammers, according to Goal.
"Sometimes results are a consequence of multiple suggestions. Mine, and my coaching staff's methods, are second to nobody in the world.
"I don't know what you mean by crisis. If crisis is frustration and sadness in the dressing room, I would say so, because nobody is happy.
"We all showed that in this game, when a team fights the way we did until the last second trying to get a different result, it is never a group in crisis. Groups are in crisis when you are not together in the search for better results than you have.
"So, I wouldn't say crisis, I would say a really bad run of results. That is obvious, we are losing too many matches."
