Premier League action returned in midweek and we saw a couple of standout performers of whom most of them guided their teams to success. Find out which stars made our Team of the Week.

GK: Frazer Forster (Southampton) – 8.8
Southampton goalkeeper was the Man of the Match in the Saints trip to Arsenal. However a late Alexis Sanchez strike broke the keepers heart.
RB: Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City) – 8.3
The City full-back was instrumental in his side's 4-1 away victory at Sunderland scoring one goal.
CB: James Tomkins (West Ham) – 9.6
The West Ham defender scored his side's second goal and won the Man of the Match award in the 2-1 away victory against West Brom.
CB: Martin Skrtel (Liverpool) – 9.2
The Liverpool defender earned the Man of the Match award in the Reds' 3-1 victory at Leicester, making several crucial interception and one goal-line clearance.
LB: Ashley Young (Manchester United) – 8.3
The out-of-position- left-back turned in a brilliant performance and his last minute goal-line clearance saved his side the three points in the 2-1 victory over Stoke.
RM: George Boyd (Burley) – 7.9
The Burnley midfielder was the Man of the Match in his side's 1-1 draw against Newcastle, scoring Burnley's opener.
CM: Lucas Leiva (Liverpool) – 8.4
The Liverpool midfielder turned his best shift of the campaign and was instrumental in his side's 3-1 at Leicester.
CM: Mile Jedinak (Crystal Palace) – 8.4
The Crystal Palace captain continued his fine form this season and won the Man of the Match award in the 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa.
LM: Raheem Sterling (Liverpool) – 7.7
The fast-paced winger was another standout player in Liverpool's 3-1 at Leicester and assisted Jordan Henderson's goal.
ST: Wilfried Bony (Swansea) – 8.8
The Ivorian striker was the Man of the Match in Swansea's 2-0 over QPR, setting his side's first goal and hitting the crossbar once.
ST: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) – 9.2
The Argentina striker put in another Man of the Match performance in his side's 4-1 at Sunderland, scoring two goals and assisting one.
