Manchester United rallied back form two goals down to claim a point against a spirited Burnley side at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening.
Andreas Pereira was handed a rare start as Ander Herrera dropped to the bench, while David de Gea returned after being rested for the FA Cup clash against Arsenal.
The Red Devils enjoyed a good amount of possession early on and they should have gone ahead inside 15 minutes when Romelu Lukaku played in Marcus Rashford, who fired wide from six-yards out.
After long spells of domination, United had the ball in the back of the net after 38 minutes but Paul Pogba's close-range finish was flagged offside.
The second half got off to a poor start as Jack Cork dispossessed Pereira before playing in Ashley Barnes, who rifled the ball past De Gea from close range.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opted for his first change just after the hour mark as Periera made way for Jesse Lingard as United pushed for an equaliser.
United went close to pulling level seven minutes later when Lukaku's close range effort was superbly turned away by Tom Heaton.
As United pushed numbers forward in search of an equaliser, Burnley managed take advantage of a counter-attack as un-marked Chris Woods headed home from close range with nine minutes remaining.
The hosts were awarded a penalty after 86 minutes when Lingard was brought down in the box. Pogba stepped up and duly converted to reduce the deficit.
United were level in the second minute of time added on with Victor Lindelof tapping home from close range after Alexis Sanchez's header was saved.
The hosts pushed for a winner in the remaining stages, but Burnley managed to see off a late surge to claim a point at Old Trafford.
