According to Sport, Turkish youngster Arda Guler is unhappy at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 19-year-old finished the 2023/24 campaign strongly, returning from injury struggles to help Los Blancos capture both the LALIGA and UEFA Champions League titles.
He followed that up with an impressive performance for Turkey at the 2024 UEFA European Championship, where they reached the quarter-finals. However, his momentum has stalled at the start of the 2024/25 season.
The youngster has started only three games this term, and this lack of game time has reportedly left him frustrated. While he wishes to stay and become a key figure for Los Merengues, the reality is that he is struggling to break into Carlo Ancelotti's side.
This situation has attracted interest from several top European clubs, with Arsenal appearing to be the most eager to secure the services of the Ankara native.
The Gunners have experience dealing with out-of-favour Real Madrid playmakers, having provided refuge for Martin Odegaard in 2021.
After a successful loan spell at Real Sociedad during the 2019/20 season, Odegaard was retained by the Spanish giants for the following campaign. However, like Guler now, he struggled to break into Real Madrid's starting XI.

This led to the north London side signing Odegaard on loan during the mid-season transfer window of the 2020/21 season before acquiring him permanently later that year.
He is now Arsenal's captain, and the same report claims the English side are keen to offer Guler a similar solution by bringing him to the Emirates Stadium.
