The Spaniard will join the Blues after both clubs agreed to a transfer fee, estimated to be €80 million (R1.2 billion), on Wednesday.

Morata, who will reportedly undergo a medical on Thursday before completing his switch to the Premier League champions, has now admitted he spoke to Cesar Azpilicueta as well as Torres before making his mind up about the move.

"Yes, I have spoken with Azpilicueta," he told AS.

"And also with Fernando Torres, who has told me he'll give me a hand with whatever I need."

The Spain striker also revealed that he joined Chelsea because Antonio Conte really wanted him.

"I'm going to the team managed by the coach who has placed the most faith in me, and that's great for me," he added.
