On Thursday, Manchester United announced the re-signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and confirmed that he would be the club's new No. 10. Here are 10 other players who wore the famous number for the Red Devils.

The jersey has had a few interesting personalities wear it, and according to Transfermarkt, all of those in the gallery above have donned the number at some point.
The most famous in the list is arguably former England international Wayne Rooney. The 31-year-old spent 13 years at Old Trafford before returning to his boyhood club Everton. Rooney left the club as its all-time leading goalscorer, having scored 253 goals in 559 appearances for United.
Former Netherlands international Ruud van Nistelrooy also wore the famous jersey during his time at Old Trafford. The 41-year-old arrived at the club from PSV Eindhoven in 2006 and scored 150 goals in 218 games for the club.
Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is another legend who wore the shirt during his playing career. The man nicknamed "Sparky" made 181 appearances for the Red Devils and scored 56 goals in all competitions. The 56-year-old had two spells at the club, and also played for Chelsea, Southampton, Everton and Blackburn, as well as Barcelona, among others.

Others who have worn the jersey, according to Transfermarkt, include Teddy Sheringham, David Beckham, Clayton Blackmore, Norman Whiteside, Peter Davenport, Frank Stapleton and Lou Macari.
