10 Managers Who Could Replace Arsene Wenger At Arsenal

Premier League outfit Arsenal are reportedly putting plans together to replace Arsene Wenger at the end of this season, if he does not secure UEFA Champions League football. Here are 10 managers who could replace the Frenchman at the North London club.

Wenger's future is under scrutiny once again as he finds his team only sitting in sixth position in the league table, eights points off fourth-placed Chelsea and 27 points behind leaders Manchester City.

According to the Evening Standard, former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is suggested to be a "serious" candidate to replace the Frenchman. Ancelotti is seen as the right type of manager to guide the club during a transitional period until a long-term replacement can be found.

There have been reports claiming that former FC Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is ready to get back into management and he has even started taking English lessons. Spanish publication Football Espana claim the former Celta Vigo boss is keen on plying his trade in England and would consider coaching either Arsenal or Chelsea.

Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira is, for now, seen as an outsider, but has been linked with head coach role. The Frenchman has been making a name for himself in the Major League Soccer, where he has been managing New York City FC.

Former Real Captain Open To Replacing Zidane

Others who have also been linked with the Arsenal job, according to various reports, are former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel, Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone, AS Monaco's Leonardo Jardim, AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, Juventus's Massimiliano Allegri, Napoli's Maurizio Sarri and Germany's Joachim Low.
