The 10 Highest-Valued U21s In ElClasico

Heading into Sunday's LaLiga fixture, the Madrid-based side has claimed the most Clasico wins (98), with the largest victory coming in 1943 when Real claimed a breathtaking 11-1 victory over their long-time rivals.

This weekend, the teams will meet for an encounter that will be filled with exciting young talent following more than a decade of experienced and established stars defending each badge with passion and desire in this historic and widely-viewed game.

For example, Ansu Fati. The Guinea-Bissau-born winger is likely to start for the home side, wearing the No. 10 shirt for the first time against the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners. According to Transfermarkt, the 18-year-old Spain international is valued at €60 million (R1 billion), while the teenager also recently signed a new six-year deal with the Blaugrana.

He is set to be the highest-valued U21 player taking part in the Clasico on Sunday, with Barca's Pedri, who is valued at €80 million (R1.3 billion), seemingly expected to miss the match through injury. Like Fati, Pedri is considered to be one of the best young footballers in world football today.

The third highest-valued young player who could potentially dominate in this fixture for the coming years is new Los Blancos signing Eduardo Camavinga. The France international is said to be worth €55 million (R936 million).

Vinicius Junior is perhaps the most in-form young player ahead of this weekend's Clasico, with the Brazilian inside-forward having contributed to an impressive 12 goals in 11 games under Carlo Ancelotti so far this season.

Where Best To Watch ElClasico In South Africa

As per Transfermarkt, the 21-year-old is valued at €50 million (R851 million), although that number should increase dramatically should the tricky attacker continue this upward trajectory while representing one of the biggest clubs in world football.

The likes of Rodrygo, Sergino Dest and Gavi also feature among the youngsters with highest values in this fixture, as do Eric Garcia, Yusuf Demir and Miguel Gutierrez.
