There were a few question marks over a couple of players on both sides, but we eventually settled on our starting line-ups for El Clasico.
The hosts will feature a very attack-minded XI, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Karim Benzema all starting.
In midfield, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric get the nod over the more defensive-minded Casemiro. Overall, Real's line-up is worth R8.21 billion (€543 million). Here it is:
Keylor Navas – Daniel Carvajal, Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Marcelo – Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale – Karim Benzema.
The main question for Barcelona boss Luis Enrique will be whether to start Lionel Messi or not. We decided he has to start, given his El Clasico record of 21 goals.
We also opted to play Javier Mascherano in defence rather than in midfield, which means Jeremy Mathieu, who has often looked shaky, will start on the bench, while in-form Sergi Roberto will feature in midfield.
The below Catalan line-up is worth R7.3 billion (€483 million), which is R908 million less than Real's.
