FC Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique, has insisted that Luis Suarez is a different type of player to the rest of the squad but insist's the side needs him.
Suarez, who was signed from Liverpool after his biting incident with Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup, is expected to make his debut for the Catalan's this weekend and Pique insists he is excited about what he could bring.
"Suarez is a really different player to what we have right now, His style is with all the rebounds," Pique told Revista.
"He plays differently, for example, to Andres Iniesta or Xavi, they are sweet with the ball and Suarez is the opposite. But we need that.
"From nothing he can score a goal, from two rebounds in the box the ball is always at his feet so he can score. He is a really good signing as he can pressure the defenders a lot which will help us.
Pique revealed that when Uruguayan arrived he looked a little out of shape but is now fully fit to feature in the El Clasico.
"I think he is ready to play in the Clasico, a couple of days ago he scored twice against Oman and he is fit. When he arrived, he needed a bit of training," he added.
"Right now he is fit to play. The first game he can play is against Madrid in the Clasico so maybe we will see him."
Pique has made 272 Apperances for the Catalan's since rejoining them and has found himself on the scoresheet 20 times.
