Cameroon-born striker Youssoufa Moukoko, who has scored 141 goals in 88 matches at youth level for Borussia Dortmund, has been spoken up by the club's CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke ahead of his 16th birthday.

The forward will turn 16 on 20 November, and will then be available for the first team following a recent rule change in Germany that allows 16-year-olds to compete at the highest level.
Moukoko joined Dortmund's academy when he was 12 years old, and has since found the back of the net on 141 occasions, earning comparisons to FC Barcelona's record goalscorer Lionel Messi along the way.

Speaking about the Germany youth international recently, Watzke said Moukoko has a natural knack for scoring goals, and believes he could be nearing his debut for BVB's senior side.
"He has the goal gene," he told Sky Sports Germany.
"Whether he's scoring three or four in games for the U19s, if you're doing them regularly, you definitely have the goal gene.
"But it will be the decision of the coach as to whether or when he plays. He is going to be the youngest of them all, so we have to be careful not to overload him.

"It's ideal to have him (move into the senior team), though. If (striker Erling) Haaland needs a break, then maybe (manager Lucien) Favre will try out Youssoufa."
