Why Bayern Munich's Weak Defence Could Cost Them

DW Sports correspondent Kres Harrington joins the SL Podcast to discuss Bayern Munich's defensive frailties, and why they should be worried heading into the second half of the season.

For a team that sits at the top the Bundesliga standings and are unbeaten in the UEFA Champions League since 2019, Bayern have still found a way to expose their own weaknesses as the halfway point of the season approaches.

They were recently knocked out of the German Cup by Bundesliga 2 side Holstein Kiel, thus ending their hopes of repeating the treble, and have also managed to concede 25 goals in 16 league matches.

In the latest episode of the SL Podcast's "The Bundesliga Connection", DW Sports correspondent Kres Harrington discusses the latest weekend of German domestic football action and why Bayern fans should be worried, as well as Luka Jovic's return to Germany, which he announced in style with a brace off the bench for Eintracht Frankfurt.
