Fiorentina winger Franck Ribery has refused to rule out a return to the Bundesliga once his time in Italy is over.
The French winger spent 12 years with Bayern Munich between 2007 and 2019, winning nine Bundesliga titles and a UEFA Champions League title along the way.
The 37-year-old is now with Fiorentina and continues to play a vital role for the club, having already made 15 appearances in Serie A this season.
Despite his age, though, Ribery is not ruling out a return to the league where he established himself as one of Europe's deadliest wingers.
"But I don't rule out a return to the Bundesliga when I'm finished here."
Ribery also shared his thoughts on his former teammate David Alaba possibly leaving the German club at the end of the season.
"David is a Bayern guy, he won the treble twice," he added.
"David is intelligent and he's not a little kid anymore. He made a big name in the football world, won everything.
"Bavaria has always stood behind David, the relationship was good. I think it would be best if both parties could find a solution. But sometimes it doesn't fit. This is life, this is football."
