According to German publication Kicker, newly-promoted EPL outfit Sheffield United have reportedly expressed interest in securing the services of the 36-year-old, in a bid to strengthen their squad for the top flight.

Ribery played his last ever game for the Bavarian giants in a 5-1 thumping of Eintracht Frankfurt on the final day of the 2018/19 campaign.

The former Marseille star came off the bench and marked his swansong with his 124th strike in a Bayern jersey.
