Bundesliga Wrap: Stuttgart Back On The Winning Trail

Bundesliga Wrap: Stuttgart Back On The Winning Trail

Stuttgart got back to winning ways in fine style after thrashing Augsburg 4-1 at the WWK Arena on Sunday afternoon.

After suffering defeat to RB Leipzig last week, the visitors got off to the perfect start after going ahead through Nicolas' Gonzalez's penalty and Silas Wamangituka's 29th minute strike.

Augsburg were given a lifeline just after the break through Marco Ritcher's second Bundesliga goal of the season.

However, Gonzalo Castro and Daniel Didavi were on target in the final 30 minutes of the second half to secure the big win for Stuttgart.

Stuttgart end the weekend in 10th, four points adrift of the top six while Augsburg dropped to 11th

Arminia Bielefeld registered their fourth win of the season with a 1-0 triumph at home to Hertha Berlin.

Reinhhold Yabo's first Bundesliga goal of the season was enough to seal three points for the home side on Sunday evening.

The win moved Bielefeld out of the relegation zone and into 15th spot while Hertha are unchanged in 12th position.
