Bundesliga Wrap: Bayer Leverkusen Up To Fourth

Bayer Leverkusen moved up to fourth spot in the Bundesliga after seeing off Freiburg in a six-goal thriller.

Lucas Holer gifted Freiburg a third minute lead, but a brace from Lucas Alario had Leverkusen ahead before the break.

Nadiem Amiri and Jonathan Tah got other two goals for the visitors after Nils Petersen had pulled another goal back for Freiburg.

As a result, Leverkusen end the weekend in the top four while Freiburg languish in 13th position.

Hertha Berlin extended their winless to five matches in the Bundesliga following a 1-1 draw against Wolfsburg.

The hosts got off to the perfect start when Matheus Cunha opened the scoring on six minutes, but they were pegged back by Ridle Baku in the 20th minute.

The draw leaves Hertha in 14th position while Wolfsburg moved up to 10th spot.
