Neither champions Bayern Munich, nor runners-up Borussia Dortmund had the most representatives in the official Bundesliga Team of the Season, which was instead dominated by the side finishing in seventh place, while the German league's Player's Player of the Season has also been revealed.

The German league recenlty announced their official Team of the Season, which was voted for by fans, team captains and experts between 3 and 19 May.
More than 650 000 fans participated in the world-wide vote after 40 players were pre-selected on the basis of their performances in 2018/19.
The official Bundesliga Dream Team lines up in 3-4-3 formation and features two stars from champions Bayern, namely: Joshua Kimmich and Robert Lewandowski.

Dortmund's two chosen ones were Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus, while Bayer Leverkusen also had two representatives in Julian Brandt and Kai Havertz.
However, the Bundesliga Team of the Season was dominated by Eintracht Frankfurt, who saw four of their stars being picked in the high-profile XI. New Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic was included alongside his former teammates Filip Kostic, Danny da Costa and Kevin Trapp, while RB Leipzig's Marcel Halstenberg completes the illustrious selection.

Meanwhile, Reus was named the Player's Player of the Season, as announced by the German players union (VDV) announced on Thursday. Reus received 31.4% of the votes from his peers, beating Jovic with 20.9% and Havertz with 12.4% to the accolade.
His teammate, Jadon Sancho won the VDV Newcomer of the Season award, while Frankfurt's Adi Hutter was named VDV Coach of the Season.
