It has been confirmed that Bayern Munich have officially signed a surprise England star.
Defender Eric Dier has officially joined Bayern in a deal worth a reported €4 million (R82 million), with the value said to be reflective of the fact the player had entered the last six months of his contract at Tottenham Hotspur.
Prior to the official announcement, manager Thomas Tuchel confirmed that the 29-year-old will give them another option at centre-back.

Spurs have confirmed Dier's replacement, with the club signing Radu Dragusin from Serie A side Genoa.
The Bavarians have signed the England international a short-term deal until the end of the season, with an option to extend for another year.
"This move is a dream come true for me, because as a child you want to play for a club like Bayern one day," Dier told the club's official website.
"Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world and has an incredible history. I want to help the team with my versatility in defense. I'm really looking forward to my new teammates and the fans at the Allianz Arena, which in my eyes is one of the best stadiums in the world."
