Dortmund 'Make Decision' On Sancho

Dortmund 'Make Decision' On Sancho

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly made a decision as to whether or not they will sign Jadon Sancho permanently from Manchester United at the end of the campaign.

According to Fichajes, the Black and Yellow's have no intention of re-signing the Englishman on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

The London native returned to Signal Iduna Park at the beginning of the year on loan from United, and while he has managed two assists in his seven games back at the club, there does not seem to be an urgency to spend big in order to retain his services.

Sancho still has two years left on his contract with the record Premier League champions, and is still on hefty wages too, which means the economics of buying the winger back at the end of the campaign do not make sense for the Bundesliga side.

Instead, the same report claims that Dortmund would be more interested in loaning him again, this time for a full season, and it is only after the 2024/25 campaign that they will study re-signing their former talisman.

The 23-cap England international returned to Germany after a spat with Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag at the beginning of the campaign.

However, with new owners coming in at Carrington, there is the possibility that the Dutchman could leave, which would consequently reopen the door for a return to United for the skilful winger.
