A Bayern Munich board member has revealed the actual fee the club paid to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur in the recent transfer window.

The England captain has enjoyed a fantastic start to his career in Germany, having contributed to 14 goals in his first 10 appearances for the club.
Upon his arrival, reports suggested that the Bundesliga champions had parted ways with €100 million (R2 billion) to land the 30-year-old's signature, but long-serving board member Uli Hoeness has said otherwise.
The former Bayern president, who is still involved at the club, claims the European giants actually paid €95 million (R1.9 billion) to sign Spurs' all-time record goalscorer.
"We only spent 95 million euros to sign Kane," he told BR24.
Kane was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United prior to his switch to Germany, until it became clear that Daniel Levy, chairman of the Lilywhites, was not prepared to sell the striker to a Premier League rival.

The forward has since become a crucial player for Thomas Tuchel, scoring eight Bundesliga goals and assisting four more in just seven appearances in the country's top division.
