Bayern Munich have hit back at Sadio Mane's agent following his remarks alleging that the club was racist towards the forward.

The Senegalese attacker and his former teammate in Munich, Leroy Sane, were embroiled in a physical altercation following a UEFA Champions League loss to Manchester City earlier this year.
After the incident, the reigning CAF Men's Player of the Year would be used sparingly by head coach Thomas Tuchel, with reports suggesting the 31-year-old had become ostracised in the Bavarians' dressing room.
This past weekend, Mane's PR advisor, Bacary Cisse, claimed that it was, in fact, Sane who was in the wrong in the fight, and insinuated that racism played a role in the former Liverpool star's exit from the Bundesliga giants.
He also suggested that Tuchel was pressured by the German club's hierarchy to demote the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations winner in favour of his German counterparts Sane and Serge Gnabry.
Die Roten have since responded to the accusations levelled by Cisse in a press release.
"We cancelled Sadio Mane's contract by mutual agreement. Accusations of racism, which are now being levelled by Sadio's entourage, are unfounded and have been from the start. Our coach Thomas Tuchel has also never told Sadio that he can never use him," the statement read, as per RMC Sport.
"FC Bayern liked Sadio Mane as a man and as a player. Unfortunately, the objectives that we set together when he signed weren't achieved. That happens in football.
"We wish Sadio all the best and for lots of success at his new club."
