With the end of the season approaching, rumours suggest that the 50-year-old tactician could stay on at the Bavarians after all.
It was announced earlier this year that the German tactician would be departing Bayern at the conclusion of the current campaign, but it appears their search for his replacement has left them without many options.
According to German journalist Christian Falk, the Bundesliga club is now discussing whether or not Tuchel should remain head coach going into the 2024/25 campaign, having been rejected by Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann, Ralf Rangnick and Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner.
Sky Germany, meanwhile, has reported that senior players in the dressing room are campaigning for Tuchel to continue at the Allianz Arena next season.
It is said that Harry Kane, Thomas Muller and Manuel Neuer believe the former Chelsea coach should manage Bayern beyond June, and have advocated for his stay.
