The Bavarian giants are expected to be without the services of two prominent defenders January, with Kim Min-Jae is set to represent South Korea in the Asia Cup, while Noussair Mazraoui, who is currently out with a calf injury, will travel with Morocco to the Africa Cup of Nations.
This has forced the German outfit to look to the market for defensive reinforcements.
The Bundesliga champions are said to not be interested in players who could potentially be quality in the future, but rather bring in experience in order to immediately improve the squad.
