The German tactician is perhaps going through his most turbulent time since arriving at the Allianz Arena.
A loss to Lazio in the first leg of their round of 16 UEFA Champions League clash was sandwiched between Bundesliga defeats to Bayer Leverkusen and most recently to VfL Bochum.
Their latest league defeat has seen the pressure on Tuchel intensify, with the powers-that-be at Sabener Strasse now reportedly evaluating the 50-year-old's position on a game-by-game basis.
While it has been said they are willing to keep him in the job until the end of the season, Sky Germany claims that the record German champions are already looking at replacements.
As per the abovementioned publication, in an ideal world, the six-time European champions would wait until the end of the campaign to appoint one of their main targets in Zinedine Zidane.
Leverkusen manager, and former Bayern star, Xabi Alonso is also a top candidate for the Munich club, but given that Liverpool are also interested in his services, the Frenchman is seen as a more achievable candidate.
Bayern chiefs reportedly appreciate the former Real Madrid boss' aura and experience, and think he would acclimatise well to the club.
