Morocco international Noussair Mazraoui has now hinted that he may be leaving the Munich club at the end of the campaign if his playing time is not adjusted.
The 25-year-old revealed after Bayern's elimination from the UEFA Champions League earlier this week that he is not happy with his current circumstances.
"Of course, I'm disappointed with my situation. I was a starter before the World Cup. Now I'm fit and I don't have playing time. I'm not even second or third choice. It's too early to talk about my prospects here, but it's not good," the Ajax Amsterdam academy graduate said after Bayern's European Cup exit at the hands of Manchester City, as per Fichajes.
Mazraoui joined the Bavarian giants at the beginning of the season on a free transfer from Ajax, and started 12 games across all competition for the Bundesliga outfit prior to the commencement of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Shortly after coming back to Germany following the Atlas Lions' historic run in the global showpiece, though, the right-back suffered from an illness that kept him out for several weeks, and upon making his return to the playing fold in March, the Dutch-born defender has been unable to nail down a starting spot in Thomas Tuchel's side.
