France Football recently announced the 30-man shortlist for the accolade, with the 2017 award winner likely to be announced in December, while FIFA's The Best Men's Player will be named during the FIFA awards gala on Monday, 23 October.
Ramos is one of seven Los Blancos stars who were nominated for the Ballon d'Or, and he has revealed his favourites for the prestigious prize in a video that has appeared on social media, and been cited by 90min.com.
In the video, Ramos states his Ballon d'Or favourites in Spanish, naming his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in first spot followed by Lionel Messi.
Luka Modric completes Ramos' podium, while left back Marcelo sits in fourth position. Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon rounds off the Spain defender's selection.
The Ballon d'Or winner will be announced in December, although the exact date is yet to be revealed. The award has been handed out since 1956 and has often been referred to as the European Footballer of the Year prize.
Originally, only European players were eligible for nomination, but in 1995 the award was expanded to include all players at European clubs, and, in 2007, to all players worldwide.
In 1995, George Weah became the first non-European star to lift the award, and the Liberian remains the only African player to lift the accolade to date.

Between 2010 and 2015, France Football and FIFA merged the Ballon d'Or with the FIFA World Player of the Year award to hand out the FIFA Ballon d'Or accolade, but the two parties split up last year, which is why we now have two awards again.
