Zinedine Zidane famously won the 1998 Fifa World Cup with France, but he could have chosen to play for Algeria at international level. One of his sons might now switch his allegiance to the African champions.

The Real Madrid boss was born in Marseille, but his parents hail from Algeria and emigrated to France in 1953, long before Zidane was born.
Both France and Algeria, though, consider the former Juventus superstar a citizen, and while his four sons were all born in France and hold dual Spanish and French citizenship, they could qualify to play for the Desert Foxes due their Algerian grandparents.
According to Les Talents Algeriens, Zinedine's second-eldest son Luca, who recently left Real to join Racing Santander on loan, is keen to play for the recently crowned Afcon winners.
"Sources close to the player revealed to us the intention of Real Madrid goalkeeper – on loan at Racing Santander – Luca Zidane, 21 years, to represent the Algerian team. What do you think?" a recent tweet, translated from Arabic to English, from Les Talents Algeriens read.

Luca represented France at U16, U17, U18, U19 and U20 level, but could still switch his international allegiance because he has not made a senior appearance for Les Blues yet.
