Yanga 'Make Decision' On Wydad's Aziz Ki Offer

Despite recently signing a new contract with Yanga, this has not stopped the Moroccan giants from pursuing the 28-year-old.

The Burkina Faso international recently put pen to paper on a new two-year deal to stay with the Jangwani Street giants, but he could soon be on the move to Casablanca should the Red Castle match his current club's valuation.

So far, they have not. According to LeSiteInfoSport, the Tanzanian Premier League champions have rejected Wydad's offer of close to $400 000 (R7.3 million) for the player.

In his first interview with the record Botola Pro Inwi champions' official YouTube channel, Mokwena did express concern about his current squad's capabilities of competing in the 2026 FIFA Club World Cup, and is seemingly trying to recruit players such as Aziz Ki in an effort to improve his squad.

While the club may be trying to land the former ASEC Mimosas man, the north African giants still need to navigate their way past the current transfer embargo placed on them by FIFA.

Tunisian attacker Oussema Bouguerra is another attacker who has been linked with a move to the Stade Mohamed IV, but whether or not Wydad president-elect Hicham Ait Menna undoes the current transfer ban imposed in time to sign the aforementioned stars remains to be seen.
