The Portuguese forward has been linked with a number of clubs playing in the FIFA Club World Cup next month, including Wydad and Al Ahly.
Ait Mena revealed they would love to have Ronaldo, but reveals the salary would be a stumbling block.
“It is impossible to bear the same value as Ronaldo’s current salary with Al-Nassr (around 16 million euros per month), but he is welcome if he wants to join us in the Club World Cup because we know that he is a star whose goal is not only to make money.” Ait Mena told Al-Eqtisadiah.
“If we have a one-in-a-billion chance of signing Ronaldo to participate in the Club World Cup, we will take action.”
Teams competing at the Club World Cup have been granted a special transfer between 1 June and 10 June to register new players ahead of the tournament.
