Rulani's Title Race Over As Lorch Bags First Goal

Thembinkosi Lorch finally got off the mark as Rulani Mokwena's Wydad Casablanca extended their winless after dropping points on Saturday night.

Wydad came into the Botola Pro encounter winless in the last three matches but were looking to bounce back and stake their claim to the final CAF Champions League spot.

Lorch was once again included in the starting line-up, while Cassius Mailula was only named on the bench.

The Mamelodi Sundowns loanee managed to open the scoring for Wydad in the 31st minute with his first goal of the club.

Mokwena's charges seemed on track to get back on the winning trail until Haytham El Bahja popped up with the equaliser for IR Tanger in the 78th minute.

Wydad have now drawn four league games in a row, which has left the side in fourth position, two points adrift of the final Champions League spot.

The draw also meant that RS Berkane were crowned Botola Pro champions for the first time in their history.
