Player 'Demands' Exit From Rulani's Wydad

A Wydad Athletic Club star has reportedly expressed his desire to leave the club during the next transfer window.

A Wydad Athletic Club attacking star has reportedly decided that he no longer wants to be part of Rulani Mokwena's side, and is eager for an exit in the next transfer window.

Since the South African tactician took charge of the record Moroccan champions, the team's form has been erratic.

Of the nine matches he has overseen since heading the Red Castle, Mokwena has four wins, three draws and two losses.

In that time, there has been plenty of changes to his various starting XIs as the Johannesburg native tries to find a consistent winning formula in Casablanca.

While there have been regular changes to his teams, one player who has struggled for game time with the three-time African champions is Moroccan attacker Saifeddine Bouhra.

The 24-year-old winger joined Wydad in 2023, and was a regular contributor for the side last season, starting 20 of the 39 matches he played.

In this latest campaign, however, the Saidia native has not enjoyed the same prominence under Mokwena.

Up until the last two Excellence Cup matches against JS Soualem and JS Massira, which he started, Bouhra was not included in a single matchday squad under the former Mamelodi Sundowns boss.

It is because of this, according to Le Site Info Sports, that the forward wants to leave the club.

The same report claims that Bouhra has already informed those close to him and even members of the technical staff of his desire to leave during the mid-season transfer window.

It is understood the young winger has grown in frustration due to his reduced role, and no longer wants to be considered a bit-part player.
