According to CBS Sports, the 31-year-old has emerged as a potential target for Saudi Arabian side Al Ettifaq, who earlier this week appointed Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as their new manager.
It is claimed the club would be open to exploring a move for the Bayern winger should he be made available in the coming weeks, with reports in recent months having suggested this could yet happen.
Mane endured a difficult start to life in the Bundesliga last season, made worse following his controversial dressing-room fight with teammate Leroy Sane.
Rumours later stated that Thomas Tuchel was willing to sell the ex-Liverpool man as part of a clearout, although the player himself has said he is determined to succeed in Munich.
Another former Merseyside star, Philippe Coutinho, has also been linked with a transfer to Al Ettifaq amid his struggles at Aston Villa.
