Mayele has been the subject of intense interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia as the player reportedly expressed interest in leaving the reigning CAF Champions League winners.
The Sky Blues reportedly valued the 31-year-old at around $4 million (R71 million) as Saudi Pro League side Al-Fateh expressed interest in securing his signature.
However, Mayele's future remains uncertain after the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) international returned to pre-season training with Pyramids, but his departure still appears likely.
According to Korabia, Pyramids remain reluctant to part ways with any of its star players after Egyptian league rivals Zamalek reportedly inquired about Mostafa Fathi to bring him to the White Castle ahead of the new season.
The club's management team gave Zamalek a decisive answer and said Fathi was not for sale under any circumstances, as the team is looking at him as a key player for next season.
