Despite the links with Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs, it is believed Mayele could be on his way to the Saudi Pro League.
"I asked the officials at Pyramids about the fate of the Congolese striker Fiston Mayele, and they told me that Fiston" Mayeli is strongly tipped to leave the team, the player has received a very tempting offer from Saudi Arabia, and he is closer to leaving now," Shoubier told On FM Sport.
"Honestly, I was very surprised and asked them how they would agree to his departure as he is one of the stars and top scorers of the team.
"They told me that the player is adamant about leaving after receiving a very strong Saudi offer, and he will not be with us in the upcoming season."
Soubier has added that Pyramids are looking at signing a replacement for Mayele.
"Pyramids are thinking of acquiring a strong striker, and here I want to clarify that I am not linking Wisam Abu Ali with Pyramids because there is no relation, and the talk will start to increase, but Wisam is already going to the American league," he added.
