CAF Champions League finalists Pyramids edged closer to securing their first Egyptian Premier League title after a thrilling win on Wednesday night.
The Cairo outfit were back in action just a few days after they defeated Orlando Pirates to advance to their first-ever Champions League final.

Ali Gabr put Pyramids ahead three minutes before the halftime break with his third league goal of the campaign.
However, the visitors were pegged back in the second half when Abdelrahman Gouda found the back of the net to restore parity for Haras El Hodoud.
Fiston Mayele proved to be the hero on the night after bagging the winning goal in the 87th minute, while he also had another goal disallowed in second-half stoppage time.

Mayele, who has been linked with Kaizer Chiefs, was also named Man of the Match after the important win.
With Al Ahly also beating Petrojet 3-2 on Wednesday evening, Pyramids now remain top of the Premier League and four points above the reigning African champions.
