This week, Yadah FC announced that the ex-Mamelodi Sundowns and Chiefs man will be publicly welcomed by the club at the Heart Stadium on Thursday.

Billiat has penned a one-year deal with the Miracle Boys following a significant absence from football after leaving Chiefs at the end of last season as a free agent.

He will be unveiled alongside other new signings, with the midfielder having reportedly become the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League's highest-paid footballer following the move.

Prior to committing himself to Yadah, Billiat was believed to be close to signing for Dynamos FC in Zimbabwe until an apparent last-minute change of heart.

Dynamos chairman Vincent Chawonza later slammed Billiat, alleging the player had been badly advised, before the club relieved him of his duties days later.

"I think he listens too much to the people who are around him, yet they are ill-advising him," Chawonza said last week.
