NEW: Mane 'In Line' For Shock European Return

Sadio Mane has been tipped to leave Al Nassr for Inter Milan.

The 32-year-old has battled for form this season at Al Nassr, having only scored five goals in 23 appearances so far.

The former Liverpool and Bayern Munich player has been linked with a departure from Saudi Arabia on a number of occasions since he arrived in the Middle East.

Italian publication Sport claims Mane is set to swap Al Nassr for Serie A giants Inter Milan in the January transfer window.

Despite his contract only expiring in 2026, it appears the ex-Premier League winger could return to Europe just a season and a half after his move to the Gulf country.

Inter are reportedly prepared to buy the two-time African Footballer of the Year out of his deal in Saudi Arabia.

Mane, a UEFA Champions League winner with Liverpool in 2019, has been criticised for his performances by sections of Al Nassr's support.

The 2021 AFCON winner was tipped to leave the Knights of Najd at the end of last season but insisted on staying in the Saudi Pro League.

His on-field relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo was also said to have been an issue in his debut campaign, with many reports in Saudi Arabia claiming the pair struggled to play together.
