Benni McCarthy remains winless as head coach of Kenya, who played to a goalless draw against Chad in an international friendly on Saturday evening.
McCarthy started his reign with a draw and a loss during the last international break in March, which dented the team's hopes of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

South African-based duo Brian Onyango and goalkeeper Brian Bwire were included in the Harambee Stars starting line-up, with the former being named captain on the day.
The visitors saw a bit more of the ball in the early stages of the first half, with Damba William going close to taking the lead inside the opening 15 minutes after his header was saved by Bwrie.
Unfortunately for the fans in attendance, that proved to be the only big opportunity at goal for either side, as McCarthy's charges found it tough to get their attacking game going.
The Harambee Stars had to wait until the hour mark for their first real effort at goal as Will Wilson embarked on a surging run down the right before seeing his low strike saved by the goalkeeper Jordan Mbainais.
That proved to be Kenya's only big opening of the second half, as neither side were able to find a breakthrough in the remaining stages of the encounter.
McCarthy has now extended his winless run to three matches since taking over as head coach in March this year.
