Kenya head coach Benni McCarthy has received some special praise from one of his players ahead of their next international friendly.
The South African tactician has only been in charge of the Harambee Stars since March, but the players have already taken to his style.

Kenya take on Chad in the first of their back-to-back friendlies in preparation for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in September.
Midfielder Boniface Muchiri has spoken highly about McCarthy's impact on the squad.
“Benni is more than a coach. He is a father figure. He is like a brother and has given a lot of freedom to the players,” Muchiri said, as per Mozzart Sport.
“Everybody is willing and ready to give their best for the country, and mine is to encourage my teammates to use their strengths and take risks so that they can show their quality and help the team to get positive results,” he stated.
“Given the opportunity, I will give 100% for my country and to help my teammates and the young ones that are coming up.."
