Advantage For Sundowns? AS Rabat Dealt Big Blow!

AS FAR Rabat

AS FAR have been dealt a big blow ahead of their CAF Champions League clash against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday night.

The Moroccan started their group stage campaign with a 2-0 win over Raja Casablanca last week.

The Royal Army will now entertain the South African champions, who were held to a goalless draw by Maniema Union on home soil.

However, the Botola Pro 1 side will take to the field without goalkeeper Ayoub Al-Khayati and Larbi Naji.

Naji is suspended for the encounter due to an accumulation of yellow cards while Sportlesiteinfo have reported that Al-Khayati is missing through injury.

This will be the first time that Rabat will be taking on South African opposition in the Champions League.

The match is scheduled to get underway at 21h00 at Stade Ben Ahmed El Abdi.
